Ho iniziato a masticare Linux nel 1994 e GNU/Linux nel 1995 :-) Tutto quello che faccio ora nel tempo libero e' rilasciato con licenza GPL (www.gnu.org). Scrivo articoli per alcune riviste ma sopratutto documentazione relativa a software GNU, GNU/Linux o altro software coperto da GPL. Il mio interesse principale e' "Bad Penguin", un progetto di distribuzione GNU/Linux da me ideata nel 1997. Sono consigliere nazionale di ILS - Italian Linux Society (www.linux.it) di cui co-amminitro anche qualche server. Cerco di tenere alta la causa del "Software Libero". La mia vera passione e' pero' incontrare altri pinguini durante i meeting, scambiarsi idee ed esperienze, e sopratutto cercare di aiutare un LUG (www.linux.it/LUG) a crescere. Il mio sogno nel casso e' quello di distribuire copie gratuite di GNU/Linux, e di finire "Bad Penguin". :-) AGX

Ho rintracciato Marco del LinuxTren, si e' iscritto anche lui ... mi mancano gli amici del Trieste LUG da aggiungere.

Domani vado a Roma, sono nervossissimo ... :-)

Ieri mi sono scorso tutta la LUG MAP (www.linux.it/LUG) perche' ci sono alcuni LUG che addirittura non erano iscritti, infatti se ne sono iscritti due. Ma perche' facciamo acqua come organizzazzione ? Anche questo sito, ha un senso se non frammentare ulteriormente le energie ?

Caro diario, non sono pessimista, forse lavoro troppo, e quei 5 minuti li dedico alle nostre giuste cause ... vorrei prendermi una vacanza ma forse lavorero' anche durante le feste natalizie.

Intanto fra 2 giorni sono a Roma per un'altro Talk, speriamo che vada bene come a Bologna ... apparte le slide non ho nulla di preparato, come sempre nella mia vita, improvvisero' ... come quando suonavo con i Nucleo. D'altronde io do sempre il meglio di me nelle situazioni piu' difficili.

Beh, per chiudere una frase banale ma non troppo: "io speriamo che me la cavo" :-)

Il mondo italiano del Free Software e' enormemente frammentato.
Abbiamo 10 diverse associazioni, 100 diversi LUG, 50 individualisti e per qualche strano motivo non si riesce mai a metterli daccordo.
Ma perche' e' cosi' difficile collaborare ?
